Biography
Marc is a leading executive in the digital entertainment industry and veteran entrepreneur. Currently, he is the founder and CEO of SUPERGRAVITY Pictures, a digital entertainment studio that finances, produces, markets and globally distributes entertainment. SUPERGRAVITY is backed by a number of leading investors including Otter Media / Gunpowder & Sky, Van Toffler and Larry Braitman. He is also a partner in REACH, a leading digital entertainment strategy for Fortune 500 brands including Nestlé Purina, Walmart, Marriott and Anheuser-Busch.
Previously Head of Entertainment at Chill, a platform for premium entertainment direct-to-consumer on VOD backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, WME and Atlas Venture. Marc ran development, production, distribution, marketing and acquisitions, original specials, feature films and digital series.
Executive Producer of numerous digital entertainment productions including critically acclaimed Maria Bamford's ""The Special Special Special"" which was named to New York Magazine's Top 10 Standup Comedy Specials of 2012, Ari Shaffir's ""Passive Aggressive,"" the breakout feature film ""Camp Takota"" starring Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart, ""The Chosen"" starring Kian Lawley.
Previously, Marc founded Tubefilter, a leading media company in digital entertainment and he founded The Streamy Awards in 2008, the top annual awards for digital entertainment and partnered the show with dick clark productions (The Golden Globes, American Music Awards) in 2011 to expand the show in to multiple platforms. Brand partners for The Streamys have included Coca-Cola, IKEA, Microsoft, Kodak and Trident.
As a speaker, Marc has guest lectured at the UCLA Anderson School of Business and at numerous conferences, including CES, SXSW, Banff Worldwide Media Festival, SPAA, Digital Hollywood, STREAM, Streaming Media West and NATPE. Previously, he worked at The Washington Post Company and founded airClick, an online advertising startup.
