Fiona Gibb is a digital veteran who has launched and grown award-winning content sites and streaming apps for more than two decades.
In her current role at Netflix, Fiona is part of a Product Creative team that creates, curates, and optimizes what Netflix’s 148 million global members experience in product, driving viewing and customer retention; and partners with the core product team on the evolution of the Netflix app.
Prior to her tenure at Netflix, Fiona was the content lead on HBO’s Webby-winning streaming apps, overseeing a team responsible for programming HBO NOW, HBO GO, and MAX GO, commissioning classic series trailers and other A/V assets to support discovery and engagement, email marketing copy, and working cross-functionally on HBO brand campaigns.
Before moving into streaming apps, Fiona was the editorial director of several consumer web sites: allure.com (also a Webby winner!), seventeen.com, and alloy.com. She started her career at parents.com—a serendipitous foray into digital—and never looked back.
Her writing and reporting has appeared in top print and digital titles including Allure, elle.com, and refinery29.com. Fiona has also taught digital writing and editing at New York University.
