Biography

Technology leader with more than ten years of civic innovation experience.

Since December 2015 appointed as Undersecretary of Digital Government at the Government of Argentina

The Undersecretary of Digital Government runs the Internet Policy and Development Office and the Digital Service Office, applying technology and innovation to procedure and services with a citizen-center strategy.

Former CTO for the city of Buenos Aires (2008-2015), his duties ranged from being responsible for the city’s web platforms, mobile apps, GIS unit and the application of new technologies within government. He build an in-house team of 40 people, including developers, UX designers, civic hackers and geographers to create digital services using open source platforms.

Daniel was the head of technology for Macri’s Presidential Campaign during 2015 and, also, the head of technology for Macri’s Mayor Campaign on 2011.
