Biography

Areg has graduated from Higher School of Advertising and Moscow School of Arts. He entered the advertising business at McCann-Erickson Russia in 2003 as a junior art director. His career at BBDO began in 2005 and continued at Instinct BBDO until 2010 where he created one of the most awarded campaigns for Pronto media and Atlant-M. Later on he joined Y&R Moscow where worked on Colgate and helped to win the biggest Eastern European pitch that was managed by global CCO of the Network Tony Granger. Since the end of 2011 Areg worked at local agencies where he helped to win such accounts as Skittles, Mercedes-Benz, Carlsberg and worked on a range clients that include Google Russia, Beiersdorf and Coca-Cola. Before the launch of ICEBERG Areg was responsible for digital projects at BBDO Moscow and worked with Pepsico, Mercedes-Benz, Tuborg and others.

His works were recognized at different local and international festivals, including Art Directors Club Russia, New York festival, Epica awards, Busan International Advertising Festival, Golden Drum, CSS Design Awards, Awwwards and others. In 2012 he was involved in judging with interactive category at Cresta festival.
Gives lectures at Higher School of Economics.
