Alvin Groen

Alvin is a hands-on Director, Designer and Animator from the Netherlands. His work is driven by the synergy between design, motion and technology. He started his career in Germany and then moved to Los Angeles (USA) to work for the interactive entertainment industry.

After LA he moved to New York to work on digital products and experiences for global brands. Right now, He's working at Rare Volume as Associate Creative Director with a focus on interactive installations. He has worked together with clients such as Airbnb, AMC, Disney, Disney Pixar, DreamWorks Animation, HBO, Netflix, Pepsi, Red Bull, Reuters, SK-II, Sonos, Spotify, Square Enix, Tom Ford, Twitter and Warner Bros., among many others.

Along the way his work and himself got featured in several books, magazines and articles. And he picked up awards such as the Adobe Cutting Edge Award, Awwwards Site of the Year, Clio Key Art Awards, CSS Design Awards Site of the Year, FWA, Red Dot Award, Webby Awards and W3 Awards.
