Biography

Aileen is the Group Creative Director at Wunderman Thompson New York. Prior, she was the Group Creative Director at POSSIBLE New York. She is an award-winning Group Creative Director and an award-less Mom.

She accidentally started her advertising career as an account person at a small agency in Boston. Once she realized what she had gotten herself into, she pulled together a portfolio and moved to New York to take a job as a Copywriter at Digitas. Aileen then spent 8 years at Dotglu/Kirshenbaum, Bond & Partners/Kirshenbaum, Bond, and Senecal & Partners/kbs+, where she successfully worked at four different agencies without ever leaving the building. She spent most of her time there as a creative lead on BMW, working on every aspect of the business from introducing the brand to social media, to building a racetrack out of enthusiast BMWs, to creating a sales event inspired by a video shot on cell phones.

Aileen has also worked at 360i, R/GA, StrawberryFrog, and Digitas. Over the years, Aileen has worked with some renowned clients including: Mercedes Benz, American Express, The New York Times, Bose, Harman, HomeGoods, and SunTrust Bank. She also has a wealth of experience in digital, social, TV, CRM, and print.

After almost 20 years in the industry, Aileen is most proud of being a mentor to younger creatives. She loves working in a team environment with nice, innovative people.

Aileen used to have hobbies (she started her career working for a professional women's basketball team).

However, now, a two-year-old runs her life, so she spends most of her free time listening to Baby Shark and trying to take a nap. She currently lives in New York.
